Shopping for Fall Clothes

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I absolutely adore walking in my neighborhood when the leaves on the trees begin changing colors. I also love shopping for warm clothes to wear when the weather turns chilly outside. During this time of the year, I typically wear thin, long-sleeved shirts, jeans, riding boots, and light jackets. My favorite types of jackets are ones made of denim and corduroy. When shopping for a fall wardrobe, I look for items in rich colors such as chocolate brown, maroon, and purple. On this blog, I hope you will discover ingenious, shopping tips to help you gain the new, fall wardrobe of your dreams. Enjoy!

5 Steps To Getting Healthy And Beautiful Nails Without Going To The Salon

Blog

Do you want your nails to look their best, but simply cannot afford to keep spending outrageous prices charged by the salon owners for services? Instead of compromising, you can easily keep your nails looking beautiful by following a few simple and effective tips. Once you have finished following through with each step, you will notice how amazing they look.

1. Use a Nail Cleaner to Remove Unwanted Dirt

It is easy for dirt to get underneath nails throughout the day, especially if the kind of job you have requires you to use your hands quite frequently. You can easily remove the dirt by first soaking your hands into a bowl of warm water for about a minute and then placing a sterile cleaning tool directly underneath the nail to gently scrape away the unwanted dirt.

2. File the Correct Way to Avoid Damage

Filing your nails down the right way is important if you want to avoid damage. You should tilt the file while using it instead of holding it straight down. Make sure you are filing the sides of the nails instead of filing all over the front of them because that could cause them to become weak and break a lot easier. You may also want to follow different filing techniques based on the shape you are going for, such as oval or almond.

3. Apply a Strengthener

A broken nail never looks good. However, you can do your best to add a layer of protection by applying a strengthening polish. Strengtheners can cause the nail to feel thicker and a bit harder so that it does not break nearly as easily, which may be of importance to you if you have dealt with more than one broken one on different occasions.

4. Use a Cuticle Cream

Once you finish applying the strengthener, make sure to apply a small dab of cuticle cream on top of each cuticle. The purpose of the cream is to protect the cuticles. If they become damaged, bacteria could get on your nails, causing assorted problems and discomfort for you. You can purchase cuticle cream or make your own using a mix of cocoa butter and castor oil.

5. Apply a Holographic Nail Polish as a Finishing Touch

After applying a cuticle cream, consider using a holographic polish from a store like Enchanted Polish on each nail. The holographic polish has such a neat appearance and it is available in assorted colors, including shades of blue, pink and purple. Unlike traditional polish, the holographic polish uses natural light to give off a rainbow-like appearance. The colors will look like they are changing when you start moving your hands and fingers.

You do not have to go to a salon or spend tons of money to get beautiful nails. Instead, you can follow these helpful steps. In fact, you should be able to complete these steps in less than an hour without spending nearly as much on supplies as you would at the salon.
