Shopping for Fall Clothes

Fall is my favorite time of the year. I absolutely adore walking in my neighborhood when the leaves on the trees begin changing colors. I also love shopping for warm clothes to wear when the weather turns chilly outside. During this time of the year, I typically wear thin, long-sleeved shirts, jeans, riding boots, and light jackets. My favorite types of jackets are ones made of denim and corduroy. When shopping for a fall wardrobe, I look for items in rich colors such as chocolate brown, maroon, and purple. On this blog, I hope you will discover ingenious, shopping tips to help you gain the new, fall wardrobe of your dreams. Enjoy!

3 Natural Hair Dyeing Products

Beauty & Fashion Blog

Hair coloring is one way to change up your appearance without going overboard. If you are interested in doing it yourself at home, there are natural products that you can use to achieve the color that you want. Here are some natural products that you can use to color your hair.

Henna

Henna has been used to dye everything from leather to wool. It can also be used to dye your hair. Henna is a natural product that not only colors your hair, but also helps strengthen your hair's shaft and follicles. Henna is effective because it binds to the protein in your hair. If you have previously had your hair dyed, it can even help to revitalize it.

When you color your hair with henna, there are a few things you need to do to avoid making mistakes. For instance, dampen your hair before applying the henna. It will help your hair to absorb the dye better. You should also ensure that the henna has been well washed from your hair. If left in the hair, you can experience redness and itchiness.

Beet Juice

Beet juice can help add a red tinge to your hair. If you use the juice, it is important to note that the more beet you use and the longer it is left on your hair, the redder your hair will be.

Before applying the beet juice to your hair, there are a few things to remember. To help your hair better absorb the redness from the beets, apply coconut oil to your hair first. The coconut oil contains protein that is also nourishing to your hair and will help to strengthen it. To get the best results, you might have to apply the juice for an hour or longer.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice can help with highlights. The juice contains citric acid, which works with the sunlight to accelerate the brightening of your hair. During the process, your hair's pigment is reduced, and it visibly lightens. There are some potential drawbacks to using lemon juice to dye your hair. If you plan to use it, it is important to be wary of those.

If you dark brown hair, it can turn orange if you leave it on too long. The lemon juice can also dry out your hair if you use it too often.

To avoid any mistakes with your hair coloring, consider having it professionally done at a salon such as Town and Country Salon
